Lesson 1 Part 3 Challenge

I've tried blogging in the past, but I get tired of hearing (reading) my own voice, so I tend to let them linger in blogger-landia. I'm following Matthew--who has created a very sophisticated blog and the library blog as directed.

Lesson 2 Part 2 Challenge 2

I've always loved the snipping tool. So much easier than screen shots--quicker too when making instruction manuals.

So, there's my pinned Millennium button done with the snipping tool, and for a bonus I gave you the whole screen shot!

Now, if I could only get the snipping tools to give me a haircut. My hairdresser snips away! Why can't Microsoft?

Lesson 3 Part 1 Challenge

Here's my poem about Legal Forms:

      In 1991,
I knew my marriage was done,
It was time to ditch him
      and have some fun.

      A divorce is expensive,
      Lawyers are too,
So I went to the internet
and got a form or two.

      I filed myself,
      my husband's a jerk
      he should have known better
      than to marry a clerk!

Novelist and Learning Express are both handy tools to have when you're a librarian. Novelist is great for the kid who's looking for a book, "Just like Lightning Thief," and Learning Express fills in when we don't have College Algebra for Dummies on the shelf. It's good to be reminded that we have these resources available.
